For those of you who ever watch soaps and then post on message boards. Do you ever wonder how others form their opinion and why others have different opinions? I invite you the readers to comment and talk about this and to debate anything that is said in this site.  I also invite anyone who has never posted on online soap forums to check it out but choose wisely where you post.

 Why do you think I picked the name “OpinionsVery” for the name of this soap site? Its a cool quote from one of my favorite Patrick Swayze movies “Road house. It is also  sentiment that should be a slogan among all die hard soap fans.

 What about message boards? Who reads them and who goes on them? Why would anyone want to post on them? Today I am going to talk about one of the largest and well known sites. It is called Soapzone.com. Here is the link to pursue at your leisure. http://soapzone.com/boards/menu.php/gh

This site if you have never been is free to look at but you must pay to post. But be warned Soap zone is not for the faint of heart. It is for those who seek to argue, fight, debate and yes sometimes call other fans names. This site is only one example but it is one place that all fans get together to discuss different soap shows. It is also a community. It has a community board where people can talk about pretty much anything and everything. Thier is a political board complete with political discussions and everything else.

 Thier are a cast of colourful characters on Soap-zone or as it is affectionately called SZ by many. Abbreviations tend to be common when one is typing. As this saves many fingers from being over worked. So lets talk about the cast of colourful characters on SZ and the abbreviations and even names of some of these posters as they are called.

So what does it take to get a mention in this site well just be snaky, humble, interesting, entertaining and different. That means many will be mentioned that’s for sure. What about fan-bases? They are dedicated and fan-base wars are legendary. That’s right folks people argue and fight and have fan-base wars over couples.

 Did you all know that from the soap General Hospital their is a pair Jason Morgan and Carly Benson-Quartermaine-Corinthoesx3-Jax still maintain a strong couple fan-base who want them to finally be a couple. These two where never actually a couple but Carly does hold the destruction of taking Jason Morgans virginity. They are relentless in the desire to see them together. The name for them is simply J&C or the other name is Jarly.  But who on SZ is the loudest and most wants J&C that would be TerriL. She is relentless in her posts that they need to be together.

That’s just the tip of the iceberg there or so many other couples and fan-bases that it is hard to keep up. I will go through and detail those more in my next addition of “OpinionsVery”.

I do want to talk about a few of the soaps right now before I buzz off to catch Y&R on Tivo. General Hospital is causing some buzzing when it comes to the Robin PPD story or does she have it? That seems to be a debate but more of  debate is who is right Patrick or Robin. The dedicated Scrubs fans that’s Patrick and Robin fans for those that don’t know keep supporting their couple as many boards debate and rip scrubs and even some scrubs fans apart. But some and only some scrubs fans fight back as well asking and giving very little quarter. Far be it from me to paint all scrubs fans from the same brush as many seem easy going.

Then we have Days of our Lives or sometimes called DOOL on line. The Patch and Kayla fans never get a break do we? Yep I’m out of the closet with this one folks. I remember Patch playing his harmonica and Kayla nursing him back to health. So yea now what Bullier anyone?

 OK Ive rambled and rambled on long enough for this edition. Come on people comment, talk about it, dish soaps and lets get down with our opinions? Oh anyone else wondering whats going to happen with Claudia and Ric come Monday? HM here is a hint Claudia gets a bit of help from her brother and the one called Maximista.
